N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Scientific Policy Analyst to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyzes complex scientific variables used to prepare various reports that impact the planning and outcome of the research program
Perform research and analyses in support of strategic planning, program planning, and reporting activities
Advises management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for the appropriate action
Attends various staff and scientific meetings providing reports as requested
Provides expert guidance to management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for appropriate action
Coordinates the daily workload of junior staff
Plans and presents meetings regarding current and new initiatives
Research and prepare responses to ad-hoc or recurring inquiries

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Governmental Affairs or Public Policy
Superior experience with MS Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
Experience with portfolio analysis and strategic planning
Strong writing skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
U.S. Citizenship
