A case study on Aditya Pachpande, co-founder of NextGenInnov8, has been published in the Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS) journal. The study explores Aditya’s journey as a young innovator, edupreneur, and changemaker, highlighting his achievements, including the Suraksha Box, a patented UVC sterilization device that received commendation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recognition in the World Book of Records.
The case study aligns with India’s Union Budget 2025-26 announcement of establishing 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) and expanding teacher training initiatives in STEM and innovation. It serves as a blueprint for educators, policymakers, and students to foster problem-solving, leadership, and innovation-driven education.
With the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 advocating case-based learning, this study demonstrates how real-world examples can inspire young leaders. Co-author Prof. Saloni Sinha emphasized the need to break gender and discipline barriers in innovation, advocating for broader inclusion of STEM and STEAM education in schools.
The case study is an essential resource for students, teachers, and policymakers, reinforcing the role of experiential learning, ethical decision-making, and entrepreneurial mindset in shaping India’s future innovators.
